This role represents a great opportunity to join or progress within an organisation of significant scale who is on a digital transformation journey with executive commitment in a role that is important for the organisation to as it builds and manages services which are critical to Maersk’s success.
• Support a set of modern architecture principles (Guardrails)
• Develop solutions to support our transition to cloud paving the way for other teams to move fast.
• Build tools and patterns to ensure maximum re-use of solutions and lower the effort to build new products
• Develop concepts and tools for charge-back and show-back (Financial Instrumentation) in a multi-cloud context.
• Evolve our cloud-native tools to accommodate the need of our strategic technology programs.
• Be a change agent for our Cloud Transformation
• Develop organisational learnings within your area of expertise.
• Ensure “Secure By Design” practices are widely adopted.
• Be a cloud evangelist to help others realize the value of modern cloud capabilities.
• Support new ways of work like Agile Development, DevOps practices and hackathons.
• Cross-vertical support and alignment on solution architecture
• Document designs as part of sprints, easing up transition into Operations.
5+ years experience with cloud and software development
Technical skills: (Multiple)
• Public cloud experience (Azure, Google, AWS)
• SCRUM/agile development
• Git/Development Methodologies
• DevOps Practices
• Powershell or.Net
• Broad cloud knowledge
• Experience in Cloud security.
• PaaS service in Azure, AWS or Google
• Automation practices
• Kubernetes or Serverless
• General understanding about database technologies
• Code re-use and documentation
Interpersonal skills:
• Flexibility to adapt to change in a dynamic environment
• Work collaboratively with the company’s other Technology teams
• Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with people at all levels across the organisation
• Strong process oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks well
• Have a desire to work and succeed as part of a team
