We are hiring UI Engineers with strong front-end development skills and experience to help shape UI engineering within Maersk Technology.

We aim to be a world-class software delivery unit that delivers business value through automation, standardization, increased forecasting capabilities and proactive handling of the market. As a starting point you will be placed at the core of the Customer Allocations program and work closely to our Product Owner and Business Stakeholders. The program is divided into several cross functional teams and you will be joining one of these teams.
You will be a software engineer with strong front-end development skills in the team, share technical knowledge, mentoring developers and collaborate with the other teams within the program. You will be reporting directly to the Delivery Lead of the department. Your tasks, among other things, include the following:
• Writing and maintaining secure, robust, scalable and efficient code that turns business concepts into tangible solutions, products and user experiences;
• Developing and publishing core reusable libraries for the frontend development;
• Driving the development until production using existent CI/CD framework;
• Setting and ensuring high software development and code quality standards in the team;
• Doing code and peer reviews for the team deliverables;
• Adopt modern technologies and accelerate innovation in the development department by driving cloud-native approach, PaaS paradigm, T-shaped people mindset, DevOps, etc.
You will also have the opportunity to work with CoP’s in front-end along with its chapters – Angular, React, Vue, Web-Components.
The ideal candidate is a proactive developer, who has a proven track record with Front-end development. We are immediately in need of a team member with the following skills and experiences:
• Experience with Angular, React, VueJs framework
• Experience in developing and publishing re-usable or the component libraries
• 3+ years of experience of development with Typescript/JavaScript
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology
• Practical know-how of working with Git and pull request principals
• Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing.
Furthermore, you will be able to grow in different areas with us, but if you have already the following skills, it will be considered an advantage:
• Experience with BDD test automation (e.g. Cucumber, Puppeteer, ).
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Cloud
• UX Design experience
