You will be part of the Service Delivery Platform focused on streamlining, optimizing, and automating container operations via advanced software solutions. You will join one of our highly capable scrum teams in Copenhagen and will work closely with both business and technology to build the digital backbone of our global container logistics business.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will take central part in designing and implementing high value software products for our business. You will be part of a strong engineering team working together to build highly resilient, available, performant, and maintainable software. There are a lot of challenging and interesting problems ahead, and through close collaboration with both business and technology you will be a key part of that journey.

Key responsibilities

In this exciting role you will serve as a Full Stack / .Net Developer. You will be responsible for development while understanding the current and envisioning the future landscape.
Further, in this role:
• You will follow the Agile approach with value-first and fail-fast principles
• You will be able to develop in Agile Scrum methodology
• You will ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• You will Identify bottlenecks and bugs in Production, and devise solutions to these problems
• Helping to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization you will accelerate development by driving improvement initiatives
• You will drive the modernization of the deployment setup, code base and architecture, with the aim of migrating to a cloud-based solution
• You will drive software architecture and design patterns (microservices, hexagonal architecture), dissecting business requirements into small implementable tasks
• You will build reusable software that integrates into the wider business infrastructure
• Engage, coordinate and collaborate activities within and across teams globally
• Use a deep understanding of Continuous Integration
• Show proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
• Use your skills to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to delivery
• Work on a global level serving multiple regions and languages
• Handle company information with confidentiality and discretion
