• Contribute to the delivery of solutions to support our transition to cloud paving the way for other teams to move fast.
• Contribute to the delivery of tools and patterns to ensure maximum re-use of solutions and lower the effort to build new products.
• Contribute to the development of concepts and tools for charge-back and show-back (Financial Instrumentation) in a multi-cloud context.
• Demonstrate and promote a value-driven mindset.
• Evolve our cloud-native tools to accommodate the need of our strategic technology programs.
• Be a change agent for our Cloud Transformation.
• Develop organisational learnings within your area of expertise.
• Ensure “Secure by Design” practices are widely adopted.
• Be a cloud evangelist to help others realize the value of modern cloud capabilities.
• Support new ways of working like Agile Development, DevOps practices and hackathons.
• Cross-vertical support and alignment on solution architecture.
• Taking part in the 24/7 on-call rotations.
The candidate is a resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision and work collaboratively with the digital teams and the company’s other IT teams.
Knowledge and skills required
• Solid experience in C#, dotnet core and the OOP paradigm.
• Experience with React JS or other frontend technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, etc.).
• General understanding of different database technologies.
• Experience building and running software on public cloud (Azure, GCP or other cloud).
• Knowledge about design patterns and the ability to communicate these.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Experience with Pipeline tools, Azure DevOps, GitHub etc.
• Experience with Scrum and agile methodologies.
• Independent and self-managed but shines when in a team, communicating well, and exercising initiative when presented with problems.
