The Scrum Master manages Scrum Teams providing continuous integration and delivery of Minimal Viable Products for internal and external Maersk customers.

On a regional / global level the role is focused on delivering optimal integration solutions for the regional accounts or as engaged on global implementations. Scrum Master will lead all levels of complex / non-complex implementations, working closely with the Scrum Development Team and the Platform Product Owners.
All deliveries are to time, to budget and quality.
As a Scrum Master your main responsibilities will be to:
• Facilitate meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective)
Manage and facilitate all necessary events with the Scrum team and other relevant stakeholders
• Shielding the team
Ensuring outside distractions and interferences in the form of new requests or uninvited guests
• Conflict resolutions
Conversation by focusing on the Scrum values of openness, respect and honesty
• Coaching Agile practices
“Individuals and interactions over processes and tools”. Can work with the team / individuals -to clarify personal goals and actions to achieve them
• Control on Agile Estimating and planning
To ensure smooth delivery of features within agreed sprints and to work in line with the development team velocity. Planning poker should be used to assist in sizing of work, burn down charts to provide view on progress
• Removing impediments
Helping the developers to progress their development by dealing with any issues timely, that stops progress
• Creating communication channel (team, Product owner, stakeholder)
Clear and transparent communications with anyone interested in the progress of the development
• Servant leader
Focus on the needs of the team and others, before you consider your own
• Enforcing Rules
The Scrum Master is accountable for ensuring the correct use of the Scrum process
• User Story creation and planning
Facilitate the Business users to create User Stories with acceptance criteria. Acceptance criteria makes functionality transparent and helps the Product Owner to find any missing point and validation of assumptions
• Certified Agile Scrum Master
• Proven working knowledge and experience as an Agile Scrum Master
• At least 5 years of working IT experience and managing Scrum teams
• (Desirable) Data interchange standards: X12, EDIFACT, XLM, JSON
• (Desirable) File transfer protocols: SFTP, SMTP, AS2, API
• (Desirable) Service-oriented or information management platforms: Oracle, OpenText, Axway
• Business and productivity tools
• jira / confluence
• Communication and Negotiation
• Team Management and Planning
• Critical thinking
• Team player
• (Desirable) Supply Chain Management
• (Desirable) Canonical model (as this is more for AMPS/SB)
•Priority management (as in the upcoming setup, SM will get more involvement in prioritization compared to what SM is to do per textbook)
•Works well under pressure and can navigate in uncertainty
