We are a tier 1 scale-up in the Nordics, serving the largest and most well-known organizations within the private and public sectors. We have reached a market leadership position while bootstrapping, and we have experienced rapid growth over the last few years. The team consists of 45 dedicated and motivated colleagues in Denmark and abroad.
We are looking for a passionate colleague to join our growing Cookie Information team and help us strengthen and develop our digital presence.
What you will do
You will join our marketing team at our HQ in the center of Copenhagen. The team consists of 5 international colleagues who play a vital role in putting us on the digital map and showcasing our consent management platform in Europe. Besides being part of the marketing team, you will collaborate closely with other parts of the organization.
Your primary objective and responsibility will be to own and drive the continuous work on our WordPress website cookieinformation.com.

You have a relevant IT and/or computer science background with a critical understanding of website management and performance. You have proven work experience as a WordPress webmaster. You are solution-oriented and not afraid to challenge the status quo. Furthermore, you have an in-depth insight into various online marketing analysis tools.

Your main tasks will be to:
- Evaluate, build and maintain our WordPress installation.
- Analyze website layouts and structures, HTML coding, navigation systems, etc., for optimizing the content to receive top search engine rankings and enhance the visibility of our website.
- Work with conversion rate optimization and A/B testing.
- Analyze, monitor, and use website performance and website visitor behavior insights from Google Analytics.
- Ensure that the website supports and connects to other business processes such as our CRM (Hubspot) or business messenger tool (Intercom).
- Manage new and existing technology integrations to support the website and digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the team, other departments, and external agencies to continuously improve existing processes and implement best practices for website development and design.
- Maintain website content and make regular routine updates.
- Ensure the overall reliability and speed of our website.
What you bring to the team
You have a relevant IT and/or computer science background with a critical understanding of website management and performance. You have proven work experience as a WordPress webmaster. You are solution-oriented and not afraid to challenge the status quo. Furthermore, you have an in-depth insight into various online marketing analysis tools.
- You have strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities, and you are structured.
- You are proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript.
- You can manage and maintain a custom WordPress theme, develop page templates, spec theme enhancements, perform theme updates and development to support leading-edge designs.
- You have in-depth knowledge of contemporary SEO techniques, multi-variate & A/B testing, quality control, code review, and testing processes.
- You have expertise in website performance optimization and page load speed improvement.
- You know how to extract insights from Google Analytics and turn them into actionable tasks.
- You have experience working with technology providers such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager.
- You can manage multiple website projects, work efficiently on time-sensitive initiatives and effectively collaborate across business functions.
- Experience with Hubspot is a plus but not a requirement.
