Key responsibilities


On a global level the role is focused on delivering optimal integration solutions for the customers and engaged on global implementations part of modernization initiatives. Scrum Master will lead all levels of complex / non-complex implementations, working closely with the Scrum Development Team and the Platform Product Owners. All deliveries are to time, to budget and quality. As a Scrum Master most critical tasks will be:
• Understanding the agile processes, partnering with the Product Owner, and working with the team to successfully deliver. Supporting the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog.
• Coaching other Scrum Masters, team members and the wider organisation on Agile principles, values and practices. Collaboration with other scrum masters, developers, architects, partners and key people in the business. Helping to drive engagement with stakeholders.
• Driving agility and quality to ensure the team delivers the right quality product. Assisting the teams in constantly improving the quality of their deliverables and meeting the Definition of Done.
• Teaching, mentoring and coaching Senior Stakeholders on Scrum and Agile at scale methods and processes.
• Guiding team in establishing normalized estimates and helping them understand how to estimate
• Actively participating in the Scrum Master/Agile community, sharing and re-applying skills.
• Collaborating to identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coaching and mentoring teams to become more self-organized and effective at facilitating their daily stand ups, sprint planning meetings, backlog refinement, retrospective meetings and demos.
• Shielding sprint teams from outside distractions and unintended dependencies and interference.
• Coaching and mentoring the teams to become more self-organised by helping them with how they best remove impediments in a timely manner.
• Communicating with other teams and management on progress and dependency handling and ensure the transparency of the team.
• Supporting the recruitment of team members across the department. Identifying training needs and providing coaching/mentoring.
• Facilitate meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective), manage and facilitate all necessary events with the Scrum team and other relevant stakeholders
• Conflict resolutions, conversation by focusing on the Scrum values of openness, respect and honesty

We are looking for


• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules an practices. Certified Agile Scrum Master
• Experience working in a large technical Platform environment, at least 5 years of working IT experience and in Scrum teams
• Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like Kanban, Scrum, XP etc, knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence
• Solid written and concise verbal communication skills and able to articulate technical complexity to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Proven influencing, coaching and mentoring experience.
• Ability or proven experience in being effective at coaching the teams how to remove impediments.
• Ability to coach the teams to become self-organised and effective at facilitating sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint retrospective, daily stand ups and other agile sessions.
• Experience of working with multi-location teams.
• Ability to lead the team efforts in relentless improvement. Helping the team improving and taking responsibility for their actions. Teaches problem-solving techniques and helps the team become better problem-solvers for themselves. Able to provide constructive feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities. Planning, collaboration on all levels
• Works well under pressure and can navigate in uncertainty. Ability to work part of global and virtual team
• Priority management (as in the upcoming setup, SM will get more involvement in prioritization compared to what SM is to do per textbook)
• Desirable) Data interchange standards: X12, EDIFACT, XLM, JSON, file transfer protocols: SFTP, SMTP, AS2, API
• (Desirable) Service-oriented or information management platforms: Seeburger (and Canonical model), Oracle, OpenText, Axway
• (Desirable) Supply Chain Management
