You will be actively contributing to the vision of business features in the Offer to Agreement business platform while shaping the Contract Life Cycle Management journey, roadmap, by designing and integrating of core cloud native product(s) in alignment to our Target Architecture Framework. As a Solution Architect you will help define our architectural vision and will work closely with both business and technology to shape the Automation journey.
You will be responsible for the architecture within your functional area. Your focus is to design and continuously evolve the architectural boundaries that our engineering teams operate within, and you work closely with our engineering teams, business stakeholders, leadership team, and other architects within Maersk, to carefully evaluate the best technical direction for our platforms and products.
Key responsibilities include:
• Shape the high level solution architecture of our products, in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Investigate and design efficient integration strategies, and help plan and manage the actual implementation of these.
• Support the engineering teams with architectural sparring and investigation.
• Able to support the development and design of bespoke solution
• Achieve a detailed understanding of our system landscape, business domain, and processes, and use this to efficiently guide decision making.
• Continuously stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and use this knowledge to push our architectural ambitions forward.

• An experienced architect, with a broad knowledge of solution architecture, cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure), integration patterns and technologies, and security.
• Thorough understanding of Microservices, APIs and Event Driven Architecture
• A self-starter who can drive complex and often ambiguous tasks to completion.
• Ability to translate between technical language and business language,and communicate to different target groups
• A strong collaborator who can effectively manage stakeholders from across the organization.
• Having Togaf or Zachman certifications would be an added advantage
• Hands on experience or knowledge of Azure components would be an added advantage
• Possessing the ability to balance and find compromises between opposing forces and opinions, within the development team

Key responsibilities
