In this role, you will be:
- Designing and planning architecture to build stable and scalable software.
- Developing high-level system design and low-level technical design.
- Contributing to product discovery in the team to identify feasible, high-impact solutions to the team objectives.
- Helping to prioritize engineering projects against business targets and evaluate what can be executed with the available resources.
- Developing backend application code for our platform and products.
- Working with DevOps team members to ensure continued stability and performance.
- Coaching and mentoring the developers in your team.
- Initiating, implementing, and developing creative and innovative engineering processes and practices.
- Exploring and evaluating new technologies and solutions to push capabilities forward.
- Developing and maintaining methodologies of iteratively deploying our cloud-based solutions.
- Documenting processes and practices you establish.
Requirements
- Javascript experience, 3+ years
- A degree in Computer Science or similar
- Deep understanding of the full stack of technologies used in a web application
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
You

- Are curious, open-minded, and result-oriented with a focus on business outcomes and user experience
- Like to take ownership of your work and when you provide input and feedback; it's constructive, positive, and aimed at productively resolving challenges
It is an advantage if you have:
- Good understanding of DevOps, QA, and test automation.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, and orchestration.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic, GitLab, and a range of AWS services
