Description
The Siteimprove Search Insights team is looking for a software developer who is highly collaborative in their approach to developing software, has a drive for constant improvement, and is driven by solving important customer problems. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the tools our customers use to understand and optimize their digital marketing and SEO efforts. Our engineers are building the set of next-generation tools that will allow marketers at large enterprises to work at a scale not possible today - both for analyzing the performance of existing efforts and for generating the right content for tomorrow.
What you will be doing
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new systems: write code and design APIs and pipelines. Ensure that our systems are consistently built for stability, performance, and scalability.
- Maintain, monitor, and improve our existing systems.
- Help drive a focus on continuous technical- and process excellence, and the adoption of industry best practices whenever possible.
- Contribute to the work of your Agile team through estimation and refining work, prototyping, bug fixing, and support of existing applications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What we will require of you
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or any related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer with a solid background in backend development.
- Robust experience working with one or more of our core technologies: C#, Typescript, React
- Experience working with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong individual problem solver with a pragmatic mindset. A robust understanding of core software design principles, algorithms, and data structures - and when to apply them.
