In DFDS we are investing heavily in digital technologies for creating a fantastic customer experience. As we are paving the way towards the best ferry and road transport services in Europe, our customer experience calls for the best possible solutions and creativity. Therefore, we are now looking for another solution driven Full Stack Developer to join our team.

As Full Stack Developer you will become part of DFDS' Technology and Innovation Department and work in a cross functional team focusing on our passengers; we call it “The Passenger Tribe”.
The Passenger Tribe consist of 40 employees working in three experience teams. Together with the rest of the tribe, you will use your professional skills to design, build and run the best possible solutions for improving the journey for our customers on board the ships as well as in the online booking flow, terminals and call centers. This is of course also done in close collaboration with our colleagues in the different business areas.
You will also be a key player in changing our existing software applications towards our new reference architecture, which is event driven, API first components running in the cloud and enable us to release code many times a day.

As the agile principles are very defining for our culture and the way we work, you need to have experience with it or at least to be ready to follow the principles and the Scrum/Kanban methodology. Otherwise we are not sure that this will be a happy friendship.

We expect you to hold a bachelor- or a master’s degree of science, to have solid experience with C# and JavaScript and want to deliver the best possible user experience for our customers.
Knowledge and practical experience with all the following technologies and architectures is not a requirement but a nice to have - we do however expect that you have experience with at least one of them:
