TripDoodler is a Green Tech startup with a clear impact agenda and we are looking for a developer who wants to help us build a new world of sustainable travel in a – by travelers for travelers – community globally.
We are looking for a developer who can transform our current beta into a solid traction and revenue generating MVP and from here build towards a strong product market fit in 2023.
The Role
On a day to day basis, your role will primarily be to maintain, expand, and iterate on our app built on Bubble.io. This will involve dealing with everything from polishing interfaces to defining efficient workflows, maintaining the database, integrating with third party solutions, and more.
In this role, you will be supported by the rest of the team to collaboratively outline task priorities and your short-term development roadmap.
As we grow our tech stack will evolve, and in this role you will play an important role in making and implementing decisions of future improvements. This may include considerations such as implementing an alternative back-end, integrating with different APIs, or even moving the application off Bubble.io and into a more traditional tech stack.
Requirements
As our application is built mainly in Bubble.io, we are looking for someone who is extremely proficient with the platform. Preferably, this means that you have worked at least 1 year with the platform, and have made the initial mistakes with the platform and learnt from them. Additionally, you should have experience using all the main functionalities of Bubble such as API integrations, back-end workflows, and database maintenance.
Beyond mastery of Bubble.io, we are looking for someone with strong skills and experience in complementary coding languages, primarily:
+ As we are heavily reliant on Google APIs, it is a big bonus if you have practical experience working with Maps Javascript API or Places API.
+ Having a strong sense of good design and a solid understanding of UX/UI principles is another quality we value for this role.
Your DNAYou are a low code developer, you have experience from other start-ups and maybe you are a passionate traveler yourself.
