Do you want to be part of moving some of Denmark’s biggest media websites into the future? We are currently looking for a talented fullstack web developer, who are driven by making great changes.
Background
Daily we supporting some of the biggest media brand websites in Denmark; Se & Hør, Billedbladet, Femina, Familie Journal and many more. We work cloud-based, using AWS with Docker containers running in ECS-clusters. We are using PHP and Javascript as our main programming languages, currently working with Drupal, Laravel and various Javascript libraries like Vue.
With the Danish business we are currently looking at how to bring all the websites into the future and together build the next digital media platform for all our brand websites.
The team
We are a team that currently consists of 4 developers, 1 developer trainee and 1 art director. We value collaboration highly and together achieve the best results. We are very helpful and always try to help each other when needed. We also value humor a lot and believe that there has to be room for fun. We are a department which is part of Aller IT, but in the daily we are sitting closely with the Danish business, as they are our nearest collaborator. We are working with Programmatic, Data analysts and business developers daily, always trying to seek for better solutions.
Furthermore, we are working with SCRUM, having one Product Owner for the entire team and planning our work in two-week sprints. We are part of setting the agenda and also holds the responsibility for any technical maintenance.
Your immediate manager has a background as a web developer and has a great knowledge in the Danish Business in general.
Who are you?
You have 3+ years of experience working as a web developer. You are self-driven and like to take responsibility and carries adversity with strength. You have an easy way of communicating with non-tech people and know how to translate functional-based requirements into technical solutions.
You like to engage and are driven by improvement and the possibility to discuss solutions on a broader scale with many stakeholders. We expect that you know some of these,
HTML & CSS PHP (Laravel, MVC frameworks) Javascript (Vue) AWS (Running cloud-based) Docker Cache solutions (ex. Varnish, Redis) Solution architecture
It is important that you speak and write Danish fluently.
