As our new BI Backend Developer, you will collect and qualify the data we have access to, so we can assist our organisation and members in the best way possible towards a more sustainable future.
The IDA organisation counts about 250 employees, many of whom work across departments, often engaging many different competences in projects. The job
Together with a Data Architect, a frontend BI Developer and a Product Owner and Behavioural Data Analyst, you will be working in an agile scrum team alongside Site Managers, a Digital Marketing Manager, and a Digital Business Developer.
At a practical level, you will be working in a full BI setup with CI/CD, which includes automatic testing in xUnit and version control. This facilitates fast, ongoing iterations in the development. We primarily use Microsoft Stack on-prem – but strive towards more cloud services.
Your job will be integrating data sources for IDA's data platform, for example data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You will also play a role in exhibiting IDA's machine learning models to our IT developers.
The technologies you will be using the most are SSIS, SSAS (Tabular), PowerBI, T-SQL, C#, DAX, BIML and YAML (Azure pipelines).
We are not afraid to try out new technologies and we expect you to have a huge interest in acquiring new knowledge to find solutions to the challenges that arise in an innovative, experimenting team and an ambitious organisation.
You
Are an experienced user of SSIS, SSAS (Tabular), and PowerBI, and you probably have 3-5 years of experience in the field. You are familiar with and able to use T-SQL, C#, DAX, BIML and YAML (Azure pipelines). It is an advantage if you have worked with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
We value a thorough understanding of data and are looking for a team member with the ability to work systematically with IT developers and other fields across the organisation. You are a problem solver who can make holistic solutions benefitting the organisation, and you are able to communicate understandably to colleagues who doesn't share your professional knowledge.
We want to create solutions that are effective in practice, which is why you must know your limitations well enough to recognise when to let go of theory and be pragmatic – and when not to.
Our professional language is Danish, and it is an advantage if you understand and speak Danish.
