Software Developer for Enterprise Systems
Would you like to advance your frontend, backend (C#) and Azure skill-set within software development generally and in the area of data-driven decision-support applications specifically? And will you like to do it in an environment that fosters your development and has a great community spirit?
Your Responsibilities as Software Developer
In your role as Software Developer you will play a central part in maintaining and developing our operational platform, assisting both with dev-ops tasks originating from the business as well as larger internal technology stack upgrade projects. You will be working closely together not just with your Dev-Ops colleagues as well as the wider Software Development group but as much with end-users and key partners such as IT Operations, Business Analytics and our global ERP team.
The key responsibilities will be:
- Drive various Dev-Ops projects
- Drive platform technology stack upgrades
- Improving the code quality generally through better test coverage, etc.
- Respond to day-to-day incidents
- Root-cause corrections to the code base
- Eventually take active part within large-scale projects
- Documenting changes made

Are you the right candidate?
To succeed in the job it is important that you find it motivating to provide high quality code and service our many users across the entire organization. The ideal candidate is able to reach out and establish a strong network and relations to our core stakeholders. You have a good ability to prioritize in the incoming tickets and tasks independently, and you can work structured and methodologically in solving both the immediate problem and identifying the long-term root cause in need of attention.
Concretely we expect that you have:
- A degree in web development, computer science, engineering or a similar discipline
- Strong programming skills in C# and a good understanding of MVC/Razor and SQL. React is an advantage but not a demand
- Solid knowledge of the Azure platform or other cloud environments
- Understanding of CI/CD processes including test automation and release pipelines
- Interest in understanding business and operational requirements and transform them into a user friendly solutions
- Good oral and written communication skills in both Danish and English
Your Future Colleagues
In the Enterprise Systems department we are responsible for the development and adjustments of Abacus operational platform supporting our daily execution and decision-making for trading medicine on the European market.
Your future team consists of 5 other in-house software developers that are a part of a department also containing project managers and ERP consultants.
