As our new Data Solution Architect for the Advanced Analytics team, you will primarily work with our Data Platform stack, which is our backbone for our Data Driven Growth initiative. You will help expand and maintain the data platform, including by creating solution designs and working with IT and business stakeholders to ensure we meet the demand. You will also participate in other critical projects across the organisation, varying in technological and functional areas. On a continuous basis you will ensure that technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state, as well as create and maintain current and target-state data architectures.
In this role, you will lead the data design of solutions for large projects and programmes, and expertly translate high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards. Working together, you will direct large specialist teams to undertake the delivery of a comprehensive data-centric project. This will include managing senior business stakeholders to secure strong engagement for the solution and ensure that the delivery of the project aligns to longer-term strategic roadmaps.
Furthermore, you will work as part of the Programme Management team on large programmes, governing and shaping the delivery of projects. It will be required to work closely with external suppliers to ensure all solutions make the best use of technology and meet requirements. For all projects, you will be responsible for the end-to-end solution as well as the compliance with enterprise data model and logical data groups.
Further to the above, you will:
- Provide clear, continuous and consistent data architecture leadership at a detailed level within the project
- Identify and communicate appropriate resource requirements and work out breakdown structure based on skills profile and best fit to complete the end-to-end solution design
- Work with the Resource Manager to ensure that project plans and finances align with the design
- Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions
- Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support data analysis

Our department consists of two teams, Product Management and Technology & Engineering. As part of the Technology & Engineering team, you will work closely together with a talented group of data engineers, analysts, solution architects, and delivery managers. You will report to the Senior Manager of Solution Architecture.
What is needed to succeed:
We imagine that you have a university degree within Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering. You understand data tools and management, data integration and database development techniques, and have previous experience with relating architectural decision and recommendations to business needs.
Further to this, you have:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience from working with Entity Relationship modelling, metadata systems, data quality tools and techniques
• Worked with BI and reporting
• Worked with UML (use case and class models)
• Strong experience with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata)
• Experience developing reference architecture, principles and standards

This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 20 days a year.
