As our new Manager of Solution Architecture, you will be a member of the Consumer Technology Management Team and be the technical authority on key customer projects. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of Pandora’s consumer technology platforms. Together with Product Management, BI and Core Technology, you will ensure the interoperability of the frontend apps and develop roadmaps for software products and the applications landscape.
You will lead a team of Solution Architects within Consumer Technology and work closely with an expanding team of developers and engineers as well as the Delivery team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality assurance standards. Additionally, you will improve the way we work with our IT vendors and tools such as DevOps to manage development and testing.
In this role, you will provide technical direction to your team and resolve team-level risks, issues and queries. Further to this, you will:
- Provide architect backend and frontend technical solutions to support the business imperatives of Retail Excellence, Marketing, and Digital
- Outline and manage an internal development roadmap of technical debt projects
- Work with business stakeholders to understand and capture demand
- Continuously convert business demands into solution designs
- Proactively build proof of concepts and undertake R&D to assist in the further development of Pandora’s products and services

Consumer Technology has just started a transformation where we over the next 12-24 months will implement new ways of working to support the execution of Business Strategy, enable operational excellence and build a data-driven organisation.
Our department consists of two teams, Product Management and Technology & Engineering. As part of the Technology & Engineering team, you will work closely together with a talented group of Data Engineers, Analysts, Solution Architects, and Delivery Managers. You will report directly to the Director of Technology & Engineering and have four directs reports.
What is needed to succeed:
To be a success in this role, we envision that you have a university degree within Computer Science or Information Technology, and preferably work experience from the Retail or FMCG industries.
You also have:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience as functional consultant or solution architect, preferably with leadership responsibilities
- Developed frontend and backend technical solutions
- Developed architectural roadmaps for software products

This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 20 days a year.
