What you’ll do
Working as part of the North EMEA Life Sciences team will present you with the opportunity to drive change, deliver strategic value and engage in truly meaningful work. You will be working at the forefront of technology to solve some of our greatest challenges and dramatically change the way that new personalised therapies and health care are delivered:
- Help our customers to find new medicines
- Drive those medicines through the regulatory process and into market faster to help more patients sooner
- Improve the efficiency and yield of medicines manufacturing by supporting the transition to Manufacturing 4.0
- Transform the relationships with health care professionals and patients alike by demonstrating genuine corporate intelligence across all touchpoints and engagement.
The team you will join supports the sales engagement. We work with our customers to understand the challenges that they face and how improved analytic insight and AI could help them transform their businesses. You will build and maintain senior relationships in large pharmaceutical companies, inspire, discuss and demonstrate how SAS software supports their needs.
Digitalisation across the whole pharmaceutical and health care landscape, intelligent medical devices, wearables, genomics and basic science are transforming the industry. Responsibilities
- Provide direct Health and Life Sciences domain sales support through sales calls, sales tool development, and coaching for the sales force on HLS-focused account strategies. Lead the sales organization with new account penetration strategies. Involved in all stages of the sales engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key consultancies, and system integrators to establish focused and effective strategic teaming arrangements.
- Develop LS-specific sales strategy that enables the SAS sales force to establish SAS as the key HLS analytics partner to include the following: identifying HLS trends and sources of major disruption in the industry, establishing strategic vision and value propositions based on SAS offerings, and articulating a solution capability at the C-level. This sales strategy will address what to sell and how to sell; and will identify any gaps in SAS’ existing offerings that need to be addressed.
- Participate in activities that demonstrate SAS’ HLS experience and leadership. Publish industry articles and white papers. Speak at internal and external events. Develop workshops to educate sales/marketing team.
- Identify industry trends and emerging issues and defines SAS’ position regarding these trends and issues.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to customers at the highest levels of management.
- Required to travel on a regular basis.
