If you are looking for an opportunity to work with world leading products and still have the energy buzz and freedom to perform as in a startup environment, this job is your perfect match. As part of our Products Architecture team you will play an important role in defining the future state of our software products and services. Your personal efforts will contribute to keeping Milestones Video Management Software in front with open and flexible software products and services that supports our platform approach and enables integrators and customers to tailor the solution to their specific needs.
Unfold your skills all the way from overall strategies to solutions architecture
Your job is to contribute with expertise, architecture and insight on Cloud, Distributed Systems, API and information technology. You will bring experience in designing, migrating and implementing services on IaaS and utilizing PaaS.
You will create tangible results in trusted and constructive relationship with Development Teams, Systems Architects, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders. You will take part in designing technical strategies to evolve the Milestone eco-system, deliver business value and resolve blockers.
To succeed in the position, you need the ability to articulate complex challenges and convey on solutions and why they make it possible to achieve goals, bring efficiency in development and bring new value to the product.
Your new workplace is the global HQ of Milestone in Brøndby, Greater Copenhagen, Denmark.
As a part of a global company with an international focus, you can look forward to travel 15-25 days per year to meet colleagues, customers, partners and to attend relevant shows and conferences.
Documented results as Architect for cloud-native solutions (AWS and/or Azure)

As such, you must like to share knowledge and be able to collaborate with a wide span of people with due respect to professional and cultural differences. As Architect we expect you to be able to put a holistic helicopter perspective to problems at hand without losing touch with the important details. Related to this, your road to success to a wide extent relies on your ability to turn challenges and problems into solutions – you have an optimistic belief in that there always is a way forward. Additionally, your CV comprises:
- 5+ years’ of hands-on experience from working with software development
- At least 3 years’ experience as an Architect of complex distributed systems
- Documented results as Architect in a public cloud environment
- Hands-on experience of Dockers, Kubernetes, Containers & Microservices
The above is minimum requirements. However, we can tailor the job to match your skills and experience meaning that additional competencies are welcome and useful – e.g. hybrid cloud deployments, on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps, network infrastructure, security, and application development, API and Information design.
