Tasks
As a Software Engineer you will be an integral part of the newly established Software Development Team in Displaying Units and Systems Engineering department within Global Innovation. You will take part in delivering our software projects within scope, time and quality. You will deliver high quality code in C and C++ and collaborate with your team members about shaping the best possible solutions.
You will be working closely with the team as well as our development partner and you will work closely with our hardware function, our marketing department and our customers. As a member of the Ambu SW organization your work will involve the following:
- Work together with hardware developers to ensure the functionality of new Ambu products.
- Gain knowledge about hardware and driver software from external partners.
- Develop functionality in software in both hardware and application layers.
- Take part in developing the architecture of Ambu´s future displaying platforms.
- Lead DevOps
- Write Requirements, design specifications and test cases.
- Support the documentation effort to comply with software medical device standards.
Your skills
You have a University background within electronics or computer science. Preferably a few years’ experience, but the right candidate can however come directly from university. You are eager to learn and share your knowledge. You are good at communicating and presenting your ideas. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Experience or knowledge in the following is highly relevant
- Knowledge and interest in embedded programming
- Experience with Git (GitLab)
- Experience with programming in C and C++, and scripting languages like python.
- Knowledge in FPGA programming and microcontroller programming is a plus.
- Structural approach to development and documentation.
