You will join a small Enterprise Architecture team within Global Group IT collaborating as a cross-functional team, collecting, analyzing, and designing optimal solutions for the greater part of all 3Shape teams ensuring the optimal IT setup for the future of 3Shape. You will refer to the Senior Enterprise Architect heading up the architecture team and work as an independent advisor across internal teams and vendors with a clear mandate from top management.
Profile
- M.Sc. in computer science or similar
- Solid technical foundation as a basis for working with architecture, e.g. from being a developer or infrastructure manager
- 5+ years of experience working as a software/solution architect
- Strong systems integration skills within synchronous/asynchronous integration patterns and platforms
- Experience with public cloud technologies preferably the Azure cloud platform
- Experience with architectural modelling and tools
- Demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders both from IT and business units fostering collaboration and establishing strong partnerships and relationships
- Experience in the software and medical device manufacturing industry is preferred but not a requirement

Role
- Champion the integration architecture methodology, approach and utilized platforms to achieve effective integration support across the enterprise
- Set the standards for integration approach and propose integration platforms and tools to ensure effective integration architectures in the future
- Understand and transform business requirements into feasible solution architectures – in terms of business needs, technical fit, cost and time – for solutions spanning potentially many systems across the enterprise
- Develop solution architecture designs for applications and infrastructure across on-prem, hybrid environments and cloud platforms
- Ensure solutions are aligned with the overall architectural decisions and common technical standards in the enterprise across departments and projects.
- Develop strategies, roadmaps, standards and reference architectures as guidelines for development teams and other stakeholders
- Leverage industry standards to guide solution decisions in relation to reliability, scalability, security and integration for the enterprise.
- Review and provide input to test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects to ensure proper alignment with integration architectures and technologies.
- Contribute to and learn from a growing centralized architecture team covering all areas of the business, application and infrastructure
- Work closely with other Business stakeholders/Solution Architects/Designers/Developers to define feasible solutions ensuring consistency, compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plans, quality of solutions and knowledge sharing.
- Document systems architecture and technology portfolio to ensure accuracy is maintained.
