We are looking for a Senior C# Developer to join our Co-located Connectivity Team in Saxo Bank.
About the job
Our team is responsible for building robust and scalable front-end APIs for financial transactions. Those cover both public FIX financial protocol API, used between larger institutions, as well as gRPC API, to be used by internal components in Saxo Bank.
As every client transaction needs to be submitted through one of those API's, we have very high requirements for quality of our deliveries, stability and uptime. A tight collaboration with our clients allows us to receive feedback on daily basis, which we use to improve our work. We have been also given mandate to participate in requirement definition phase, giving us an opportunity to have a direct influence on client experience.
Over a number of iterations, we brought our "ways of working" to the level, where we confidently deliver structured and high quality software. A complete set of automated tests run on every check-in and allows us to continuously release to production servers. All those factors contribute to the fact that we are primarily able to focus on delivering new exciting features, rather than spending the time analyzing production issues.
In this role you will be part of this team which involves the following:
- Provide trading interfaces with FIX Protocol
- Work with modern C++ code and C# code
- Build new APIs
- Take pride in continuous delivery, automated test and dev ops
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive requirements, following the dev lifecycle and building optimized solutions
- Monitor solutions and build improvements
- Involved in cloud transformation projects
- Work with new and exciting technologies
Your profile
- 5+ years experience as a C# software developer
- Degree or Masters in Computer Science or other related disciplines
- Must be a strong communicator and collaborator with key stakeholders
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- Willing to work with modern C++ code
- Experience of test driven methodologies
- Experience in writing optimized code and monitoring code performance
- Experience in Software Engineering in an agile environment
- Experience with gRPC, Kafka and cloud solutions is an advantage
- Experience of FIX Protocol and financial domain is an advantage
- Experience in low latency, high frequency trading systems is an advantage
