Maersk’s Storage & Distribution (S&D) platform team are looking for experienced Fullstack Engineers to deliver world-class user-experience for our customers.
As a Fullstack engineer at Maersk, you’ll work as a part of the team in a challenging and fast-paced environment. You’ll demonstrate your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user-facing technologies to create prototypes that identify the best product experiences, launch innovative features, build tools and enable efficient, high quality execution.

Key responsibilities
• Design, build, test and deploy stable, scalable and simple solutions.
• Create and recommend solution design options factoring in requirements, standards, and current infrastructure environment. Communicate and present solutions to the other stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor other members in the team to promote highly technical and self-sufficient teams.
• Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes.
• Propose ideas and provide key inputs to the product and leadership team on product/platform roadmap.
• improvement in both the code base and team capability
• Proactive contribution to continual improvements within your team through both active participation in retrospective and from engagement with cross team best-practice communities
• Advisory to Product Owners to identify and manage risks, debt, issues and opportunities for the technical improvement
• Supporting the recruitment of (developers) across the department
• Technical support during cut-over activities
• Providing continuous improvement suggestions in internal code frameworks, best practices and guidelines

• Hands-on knowledge in designing and building API platforms with documentation, sandboxes, monitoring etc.
• Hands-on knowledge in designing, writing and reviewing code in Java, Spring etc.
• Hands-on knowledge in technologies/frameworks like Kafka, Redis, MongoDB/Cassandra/NoSQL DBs, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Elastic Search, Docker, Kubernetes
• Hands-on knowledge in designing and modelling data in RDBMS and NoSQL DBs.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms. Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in product companies into ecommerce, logistics, etc.
• A good technical mindset and product development driven experience
