As a key part of the success of Getinge Group, their Integrated Workflow Solutions (IWS) organization offers a range of best-in-class software-based solutions to customers globally – and they’re now in need of a skilled Software Architect to help tailor this giant and complex product to the needs of each client.

The Job

As a Software Architect at Getinge, you will be a part of the developers’ department, working closely with the Software Architects as well as PO’s, Software Engineers and UX team. You will translate the clients needs into specifications for these actors as well as translate the possibilities with their products to the clients. There might be a few travelling days yearly, visiting clients in one of the 40 countries in which the product T-DOC, is implemented.

You will be:

  • The interface between the developers and the clients
  • Making architectural decisions
  • Scoping the clients’ needs and setting the boundaries of the solutions
  • Producing specifications from client needs
  • Setting the scope in close cooperation with software architects and developers
  • Discussing and perfecting solutions working closely with the development teams
  • Help answering technical questions in collaboration with the aftersales department

Who are you?

You are most likely already working as a Software Architect on a SaaS platform or another complex solution within the IT sector. You are skilled in communicating with all types of stakeholders and you make sure that expectations are aligned before creating the architecture for the solutions.

You produce clean and clear specifications for the developers to produce.

On top of this, you have a genuine interest in IT – While you do not necessarily write code, you follow technology trends and like to understand different systems and how to connect the dots.

Your Experience

  • You have several years of experience as a Solution/Software Architect working with SaaS or similarly complex systems
  • You possess a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
  • You have previous experience working as a developer – Tech-stack unimportant
  • You retain enough knowledge about code to be able to discuss solutions in detail with you team of developers
