We have a vacancy in our Software Tools Development team. If you join us, you will work with 7 very skilled full stack software developers, located both at the headquarter in Denmark and our site in Poland. We come from different backgrounds, but with SW Engineering as a common element. Characterizing us is the ambition to make solutions and tools available, that enable our colleagues in Demant to develop products across hardware, embedded -and pc software platforms.

We work in an agile setup which means iterative approach to the development, code reviews, knowledge sharing, workshops, and brainstorm and in general participating in each phase of software development: from stakeholder’s management to testing and release rollout.

Your responsibilities and tasks
You’ll be involved into all development phases of tools from our big and constantly growing tools portfolio, including design, implementation, rollout, and maintenance phases.

Here are some examples of the tasks you’ll meet:

  • Collecting information about stakeholders and agreeing on use cases and requirements
  • Running investigation tasks and preparing software designs
  • Implementing features using best practices of object-oriented programming (SOLID, etc.)
  • Conducting code reviews
  • Writing automatic and unit tests
  • Execution of release procedures involving testing, writing documentation, etc.
  • Participating in demos, rollouts, trainings in the use of tools, etc.


Your background and experience
You hold a relevant degree within software engineering or computer science or in process of getting one. You may have recently graduated -or you may be an experienced developer. Regardless, we will shape the job to match your competency level.

Since we’re ready to work with newly graduated SW developer we don’t expect deep knowledge and a lot of experience in specific frameworks, the most important is to be interested in making good and maintainable solutions, have overall understanding of principles and approaches and be ready to learn new things.

On a daily basis we work with .NET technology stack, so any relevant experience would be a positive factor.

  • .NET
  • Source control systems (e.g., GIT, TFS, Perforce.)
  • Bug tracking and documentation systems (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Entity Framework
  • SQL
  • WPF
  • Object-oriented programming paradigm
  • High code standards (unit tests, code reviews, StylCop, documentation, etc.)
  • Agile setup (scrum/Kanban): iterations, demos, grooming, etc.
