Contribute to growing Milestone
You will be part of Business Application Development where we develop and maintain most of the business systems in Milestone. We are responsible for the IT implementation of major business processes, supporting Sales, Finance and other business support areas, Partners, and Customers to help grow Milestone.

You will help ensure that the ongoing initiatives transforming Milestones business will result in a coherent and consistent set of solution architectures that will:
• Increase the agility for future changes
• Allow for parallel development to a high degree thus making it possible for Milestone
to grow the number of people working on the business system landscape in an
effective manner
• Ensure efficient implementation that provides scalable performance and load
• Ensure that solutions have security built into the basic design

You will refer to the Director of Business Application Development and work closely with both IT Product Owners and Managers in the development teams.

Solid solution experience
As Solution Architect you must be comfortable working with business stakeholders, enterprise architects and product owners to help define the business requirements needed for solution architecture design, with engineering managers to translate solution architectures into solution designs and implementation plans, and with infrastructure architects to ensure technologies and technology platforms are well anchored.

In your skillset you have:
• Experience with solution architectures that support business processes across
multiple business systems – e.g. ERP, CRM, Custom portals/websites
• Experience in API based system architectures will be an advantage. Knowledge of
OpenAPI is an advantage as this is the standard we have chosen for API definitions
• Experience with documenting business processes in an IT context for instance using
de-scription languages like Archimate.
• Experience transforming processes and business rules to solution architectures that
both achieve the business target and result in solution that are scalable (in terms of
both technology and the number of people) extensible and performs well
• Experience in transforming from traditional individual business system architectures
to an API/service driven approach will be an advantage.
• You must be curious on how to use standard services/SaaS/Cloud platforms to define
the underlying technology architectures supporting the solution architecture.
• Experience with use of managed services in Azure as part of the solution
architectures will be preferred.

Your new team
Your new workplace will be the Milestone HQ in Brøndby, Greater Copenhagen where you will refer to the Director of Business Application Development. In Business Application develop-ment we are 4 development teams and 4 product owners, with the teams located in Denmark and Poland and we are a very diverse group of 30+ people covering more than 9 nationalities in Denmark alone.
