The mission of the Store & Internal Business Systems team is to develop and maintain the ERP and sales order services at Milestone. This includes both our BC as well as the ordering portal (Milestone Store). The team will help Milestone continuously optimize and adapt processes to provide timely and high-quality registrations, controls, and data for analysis.
Roles and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for our Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) together with the team. Focus will be on supporting our business and developing/maintaining our BC.
Your main focus will be on BC and Finance, while also assisting on our sales functions in Milestone.
To do this you will:
• Create and maintain process descriptions and process design
• Be responsible for functional solution design together with the team (developers,
solution architects and consultants)
• Be one of the primary contacts between business stakeholders and our team
• Perform configuration of BC, and coordinate with developers where custom coding is
required. You will be a part of the combined deliveries with configuration & code
working together.
• Test BC changes
• Create user documentation
• Training of users, including responsible for training the accounting Superusers
• Be part of release planning and communication
• Provide 2nd level operational support, with focus on accounting
• Participate in the refinements of new features and quick wins to ensure that
quality concerns are addressed.
Preferred skills:
You have been working professionally with Accounting and BC. Your background can be either on the user side, having worked as a financial accountant, in sales support or similar, or on the IT side, working as an application consultant, developer or similar.
You have experience in:
• A complex environment where multiple applications as well as complex business
rules are involved.
• Experience with use or test of BC will be an advantage, as will experience with
accounting.
• Configuration of BC in Finance and/or Sales
• User Documentation
• Knowledge of and experience with agile frameworks like Scrum
• You are curious and self-driven
The team:
The team consists of (not including you), two BC Application Consultants, two BC Developers, one Tester and a Store front-end developer with a diverse mix of backgrounds and professional experience. You will be working closely together with the Product Owner and members from other teams as well.
We work in an agile framework inspired by Scrum with frequent releases.
