Proactive stakeholder management and attentive leadership
How can we make licensing as easy and user friendly as possible while at the same time protect ourselves against fraud? That’s the question, you and your team must provide the right answers/solutions for. To do so, you will spend the majority of your time interacting with stakeholders across development teams and business functions. This to ensure your understanding of needs, different perspectives as well as cross-organisational and product dependencies.
The remaining part of your time, you spend on keeping your team happy, skilled and motivated. Your agile team counts 5 employees of which several have many years’ experience and by that profound knowledge of both technical and legislative requirements. The team is very well-functioning and to a wide extent self-managing. The team is part of Cloud Enablement with teams in Copenhagen and Sofia and lots of collaboration with both Global IT and our Go to Market organization.
Your primary tasks will be to:
• Lead and motivate a team of four Developers and a Student Worker (the team’s
Product Owner is not reporting to you)
• Build and nurture good relations to multiple stakeholders across the global
organisation
• Ensure quality deliverables for our cloud architecture by using modern tools and
technologies – in an agile setup with biweekly sprints
• Ensure robust solution design and strong product resilience against cybersecurity
threats
• Contribute to setting direction in the leadership team together with experienced
managers from Copenhagen and Sofia
Your new workplace is the Milestone HQ in Brøndby, Copenhagen where you will be part of a friendly and social environment with a hybrid workplace setup with plenty of flexibility. 10-20 days per year you will travel to primarily our development center in Sofia but occasionally also to the Barcelona center – to meet peers and build relations.
Several years’ experience as Team or Project Manager or Product Owner
We are looking for a leadership profile that thrives on delivering through others and creating results based on proactive stakeholder management. You will need a good baseline of technical knowhow but if you prefer a job where you are hands-on involved in coding/development, this is not the right job for you.
Your skills are founded within the relational part of running a major, international business. As such, you have the communication skills to explain complex tasks in a way that makes sense to colleagues with (very) diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. You can outline a vision and you can ignite the fire in the eyes of people involved in making it come true. Additionally, your resume covers:
• Presumably a university degree within tech and/or business administration
• Several years’ experience as Team or Project Manager or Product Owner
• A strong motivation for attentive leadership including ongoing development of people
• The necessary persistency to keep on going forward also when it takes a bit longer
than preferred
