As an architect with Avanade, you will help our clients realize the full potential of their Office 365 investments while meeting their business requirements.
You will mostly work onsite with the client as part of a project team. You will have a great opportunity to expand your skillset through work as well as training. At Avanade we take training very seriously and provide access to in person training, online training and certifications.

As an Office 365 Architect in Avanade you will:
• Collaborate actively in our agile projects, both as a scrum master and as a participant
• Lead the client discussions designing how their business requirements can be implemented in Office 365 and associated services
• Be an active part of the sales process with innovative solutions
• Work in all phases of an implementation (from analysis to post deployment support)
• Partner with cross-functional technology teams to integrate solutions
• Both be a role model and lead our onshore and offshore teams
We are looking for strong team players and your skillset likely includes:
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in defining collaboration solutions on the Microsoft Office 365 platform
• A background in development and potentially infrastructure, allowing you to connect the dots between the business, developers and infrastructure
• Office 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Flow and Microsoft PowerApps
• Life cycle management, governance and QA processes in Office 365
• Modern web frontend technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, React and SPFx
• C#, REST Services, integration, security and Microsoft Graph
• Azure platform and PowerShell
• Agile / Scrum, Automated testing and Design Patterns
• Team lead roles with both onshore and offshore teams
Experience with one or more of these technologies would be a benefit:
• Microsoft PowerBI
• DevOps using tools like Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Selenium, Grunt, gulp etc.
• Utilization of Azure Functions/Queues/Security/API Management and creation of ARM templates
• .NET Core, ASP.NET Core and container services
• Component design, complex code development, troubleshooting and application testing
• Experience with the Microsoft PnP offerings and how these can be utilized
• Migration Tools (Metalogix or Sharegate)
• Integration with On-premises SharePoint (Hybrid / AADConnect / ADFS)
• On-premises infrastructure (AD, SQL, network, SharePoint)
• Implementation of solutions in on-premises SharePoint
In addition to this it’s important that you
• Enjoy working in teams
• Have excellent written and oral/presentation skills both in Danish and in English
• Have a strong interest in growing your own technology skills
• Keep updated on the latest changes and potential impact, while advising our clients and colleagues about the latest functionality and roadmap for the Office 365 platform
• Are comfortable and experience with presenting for both technical and non-technical audiences, knowing how to change the message to the target audience.
• You live by the term “configure before code” and know how to combine the Office 365 platform with other offerings like Azure
The position is based in Copenhagen with most projects are located in greater Copenhagen area.
