Tech lead compliance engineer setting the direction for our R&D compliance
Are you a tech lead compliance engineer with practical experience within certification and regulatory approvals in the energy sector? Are you passionate about a future role as advisor and mediator? Then you could be the new tech lead compliance engineer to our R&D Support functions & processes department at Green Hydrogen Systems.
Green Hydrogen Systems is ready to take on a position as one of the world’s leaders in developing and producing electrolysis plants that use electricity from renewable energy and water to produce green hydrogen.
We are looking for a tech lead compliance engineer, who ensures our electrolysers are compliant, with the standards, recommended by the compliance team. Therefore, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction for our compliance team, both towards product development and in discussions with internal and external stakeholders. You will be working on, and reviewing our product design and overall system setups, as well as all components, thereby directly impacting our electrolysers and become a fundamental part in the green transition.
In your new role, you will be an advisor to the entire organization, when it comes to evaluating the directives and standards, we should be compliant with. This will be done in collaboration with the product development teams in charge of our A and X electrolyser series.
Technical insight to lead the way for product safety compliance
We are on an exciting journey, and you will be part of setting the compliance standards not just for our electrolysers but for the entire industry of electrolysers. You will be responsible for communicating and mediate compliance issues in our organisation and answering to customer inquiries regarding compliance.
Your main deliveries and task will include:
- Approval of component choice in the mechanical design
- Responsibility to ensure that GHS is compliant with the documentation requirements set by various authorities and directives
- Making sure that the organisation uses the compliance team as a support function
- Ad hoc tasks such as acting as technical and compliance support to R&D, customers and partners
To succeed as our Tech Lead Compliance Engineer, you must have at least 7-10 years' experience as technical responsible engineer and have worked with certification, regulatory approval and directives.
We expect you to have an engineering degree (marine engineer, B.Sc. or M.Sc.) within electronics or mechanics or any similar educational background. You must have worked with MD, PED, ATEX & LVD. If you have experience with the standards, 60511, 61508, 13849, 22734 it is seen as an advantage. You must master Danish and English at a professional level.
