Topsoe's esteemed global DevOps team is currently seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Architect to oversee and lead the full stack of the ClearView™ solution in Azure, including all resources, subscriptions, and management groups.Who we’re looking for
As a Senior Azure Cloud Specialist at Topsoe, you will have the chance to make significant contributions to our digitalization strategy and take a leading role in pioneering future digital solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading the design of scalable, high-performance, cost-efficient, and secure solutions in Azure, while also serving as the team's trusted technical advisor.
Your responsibilities will include:

Driving the adoption of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices, implementing guardrails and policies in Azure for consistent and secure infrastructure management.

Analyzing Azure Cost Management Reports to identify optimization opportunities and provide advice on Azure Commit Units (ACUs) to maximize value while minimizing costs, if necessary.

Collaborating with stakeholders to establish and enforce Azure budgetary controls.

Staying updated on Azure innovations and best practices, bringing new ideas and improvements to the team.

Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team, particularly in areas of performance, security, cost efficiency, and automation.

Assisting in optimizing the cost-effectiveness of the solution by advising on scaling, resource usage, and cloud pricing models.

Extending, updating, and centralizing team knowledge in a shared wiki to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible documentation for all team members.

Working closely with the team to establish best practices for documentation standards and promote consistent knowledge sharing.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess excellent documentation skills to ensure that all technical processes, architectural choices, and key workflows are clearly documented and maintained.We hope you can bring this into the role:

Proficiency in Azure reference architectures for scalability and cost efficiency.

Experience with Azure PowerShell, AZ CLI, and Azure DevOps Pipelines for automation and CI/CD workflows.

Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep, Terraform, and ARM templates.

Strong understanding of Azure security features and compliance frameworks, particularly ISO 27001.

Experience with Microsoft Azure AD for identity and access management, including PIM, Access Reviews, Group Management, and Delegated Access.

Familiarity with Azure Policy for governance and compliance enforcement.

Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate) are a plus.

Knowledge of industry best practices for cloud governance, security, and cost management.
