Your future team & organization
We are looking for a DevOps expert for a very central and newly established DevOps & Integration team within our Command & Control (C2) organization. The position is either located in Herlev (Copenhagen) or in Lystrup (Århus). The C2 organization is mainly responsible for our C2 Naval system, C-Flex, that provides situational awareness et. al. for surveillance, maritime safety, and combat purposes at sea.
Terma’s DevOps journey started a few years back and together with you we would like to take it to the next level. The team that you will join plays an important role in our Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) strategy and is, among other things, responsible for automation, tool stack infrastructure development and maintenance enabling automatic testing, integration, deployment, and release. Furthermore, the team is responsible for the automatic deployment of our C-Flex system to our physical reference sites, which, to a high degree, reflect the HW and SW environment on the vessels that C-Flex is deployed to.
Your role & key responsibilities
You have a relevant education, i.e., a master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or related technical discipline - or equivalent work experience. You are DevOps developer on senior level with a big interest in DevOps architecture, or you are a DevOps architect who still loves to perform as a developer. You are ready to take ownership of existing IT systems and the maintenance of these - and you have the ambition to bring these systems to new heights. You will work closely together with management on strategic decisions on technology, strategy, and tools.

- Docker / containerization
- Linux system administration
- System architecture
- Scripting language like Bash
- Implementations of CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Source code management using Git
- PostgreSQL
- Persistent data using NFS
- Automated testing and disaster recovery
- Infrastructure as code (IasC)
- Configuration as code (CasC)
You as a person
- You are a team player, and you take pride in communicating actively and acting proactively towards your teammates and stakeholders
- You have an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving and the ability to understand and work with complex solutions
- You have good cooperation skills, as you will need to work with many different people in the organization
