We continue to grow and therefore we are currently looking for more passionate and talented Software Developers to join our Radar Software department in Lystrup. Radar Software is a part of Terma’s TEC department (Technology & Innovation) currently counting 22 employees in total.
As our new colleague, you will become part of a team of highly qualified Developers and Systems Engineers who strive to further develop current solutions as well as creating new and improved products within the radar domain.
Your role & key responsibilities
In close collaboration with the team, you will develop new or improved functionalities to our platforms.
Your primary tasks will be:
Desired skills and experience
You have a relevant education, i.e., a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical disciplines.
As a Software Developer in the Radar domain, you must possess the skills and knowledge to create robust, scalable, elegant, and flexible solutions. You communicate actively and demonstrate technical leadership and collaboration.
More specifically, we are looking for a colleague with skills within some of the following disciplines:
Broad knowledge of various software methodologies and tools. Experience with some of the technologies we use, such as Python, Linux, GitLab, Visual Studio Code, Writing automated test (TDD) and so on.

Bear in mind that candidates for this position must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad.

As our new colleague, you will become part of a team of highly qualified Developers and Systems Engineers who strive to further develop current solutions as well as creating new and improved products within the radar domain.
Your role & key responsibilities
In close collaboration with the team, you will develop new or improved functionalities to our platforms.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Software development focusing on solid software practices
- Outlining of the software solutions through clarification of requirements and by conducting task refinement in close collaboration with your colleagues in an agile environment
- Developing and contributing to all areas of our Radar products
- Troubleshooting and optimizations
Desired skills and experience
You have a relevant education, i.e., a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical disciplines.
As a Software Developer in the Radar domain, you must possess the skills and knowledge to create robust, scalable, elegant, and flexible solutions. You communicate actively and demonstrate technical leadership and collaboration.
More specifically, we are looking for a colleague with skills within some of the following disciplines:
- A few years of professional developer experience within Java and perhaps C++
Broad knowledge of various software methodologies and tools. Experience with some of the technologies we use, such as Python, Linux, GitLab, Visual Studio Code, Writing automated test (TDD) and so on.
You as a person
- You have an analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to understand and work with complex solutions
- You have good cooperation skills, as you will get the opportunity to work with many different people throughout the organization
- You respect the formal working processes while still mastering agile principles
- You show drive and are passionate about your tasks
- You enjoy working in a complex and highly specialized environment
- You are well articulated in writing and speaking, as a minimum in English, preferable also in Danish
