Then you are a candidate for our vacant position in the department Supply Chain Optimisation in Clinical Supplies.
As our new developer, you will maintain existing tools and support the development of our IT system landscape in Clinical Supplies (CS). You will be a key person in understanding and developing our systems and data for the clinical supply chain in close cooperation with two other systems developers and a solution architect.
The department
Before drug is approved for market use, drug candidates are tested in clinical trials. CS is responsible for delivering drugs for Novo Nordisk’s clinical trials around the world.
Supply Chain Optimisation is a department of 11 colleagues, who work across CS and with direct link to CS Management. Our role is to carry out strategic projects optimising the clinical supply chain. Our way of working is informal and ambitious at the same time. We work in close cooperation with Line of Business, who are the users of our solutions, and our approach to internal IT development is agile.
We are responsible for IT systems and tools used for supply chain management e.g. for simulation of demand in clinical trials, pack and distribution planning, and planning of clinical trial activities.
Our ambition in CS is to become fully digitalised. We want to obtain this by developing new systems and tools and by improving the use and integration of our current IT systems and tools.
The position
You will play an important role in developing efficient business processes in CS through maintenance and development of applications and tools, primarily based on the .NET platform. You will support users (our CS colleagues) in technical matters related to our tools and systems. You can look forward to work in projects and with tasks of varying size with business subject-matter experts, project managers and relevant department colleagues.
As we are a small department, we expect you to take a broad responsibility in development and maintenance of our solutions, and you will have the opportunity to influence our approach to systems development.
Qualifications
You hold a degree in IT, engineering or similar and have a few years of experience working with IT and business processes. You have documented results within systems development and have a solid analytical foundation that you apply in your work.
You have experience with the .NET framework using C# and you are proficient in SQL.
You have a good understanding of database design, and you are also comfortable working on the frontend (we have both Windows applications and web solutions as well as some Microsoft Office based tools). You are familiar with Dependency INjection and want to contribute with testable and maintainable code. You are - or would like to become - used to working with Azure DevOps.
You take an interest in the business and you understand how the tools you implement support the business processes.
On a personal level you thrive from helping colleagues, you work independently, deliver high quality, keep calm and focused under pressure and keep deadlines. You are fluent in Danish and English both written and spoken.
It is an advantage if you have supply chain experience and understanding of regulatory requirements.
