As the Scientific IT Systems Engineer within Pharma Research you will get the opportunity to have a key role in building the future research application platform in order to let scientists discover novel drugs and thereby changing the patients of Novo Nordisks’ lives.
You will have a wide variety of responsibilities and demanding tasks as well as a high impact on the solutions, that will be deployed within Novo Nordisk.
You will become a part of an inspiring, energetic and growing international Research Application team with the mandate to transform Research IT within Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will be engaging in scientific collaborations within the Structure, Bioinformatics and Data Science area.
As Novo Nordisk is moving away from in-house developed system to more commercialized solutions, a lot of your responsibility entails the configuration and integration of new features in the systems, when scientist within R&D at Novo Nordisk has a certain need for the platform.
Furthermore, there will be some maintenance tasks in the position, as you will be helping the scientist improving the applications and when moving to new systems, there will be some assignments in regard to phasing out the old systems and moving the applications onto the new platform.
As Scientific IT Systems Engineer you will refer directly to Christian Luber, Director of Research Applications.
