About R&ED IT
You will be a part of an inspiring community in Research & Early Development IT (R&ED IT) with +2,000 skilled and committed IT professionals who are responsible for all major IT projects, IT systems and infrastructure at Novo Nordisk.
The position as IT Scrum Master will be a part of the department that runs IT programs, projects and agile teams in R&ED IT. The department has highly skilled and dedicated project managers, product managers, architects and scrum masters who support the Research IT strategies by driving key IT initiatives. The department enjoys empowerment and autonomy and believe that it is the people’s differences, knowledge and experience that creates the joint strengths of the team.
The position
A Scrum Master you are an expert in the agile way of working and a role model for agile practice and behavior. As Scrum Master you will help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics with continuous flow and improvement implementation.
The main job tasks in the position are:
· Facilitating agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups) for the agile team, being responsible for the agile process.
· Facilitating the team(s) backlog creation and refinement together Product Owner and other stakeholders.
· Leading and influencing the agile transformation inside the agile team.
· On-boarding and coaching individual team members in the agile roles and ways of working.
· Ensuring constructive and positive team dynamics aligned with the agile principles.
· Inspiring the team to continuously improve on products and processes.
· Taking an active part in knowledge sharing and anchoring of learnings across teams.
· Helping the team track their progress and enable transparency of tasks (Azure DevOps).
Qualifications
You have experience with coaching/engaging high-performing agile teams and a good comprehension of IT. Potentially you have worked on projects within the pharma industry or with operational technology for manufacturing. You are motivated by challenging assignments, and you can absorb new knowledge quickly.
Your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks simultaneously while keeping an ongoing focus on results. You are ambitious about your assignments and interested in growing your skills. Independence, cross-cultural understanding and fluency in written and spoken English are essential.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the following skills & experiences:
· 5 years or more of experience with IT projects including project management or Scrum Master experience
· A degree at minimum BA level of science in IT or another relevant field
