Navision Application Consultant


Do you want to take responsibility of the functional design and expand your knowledge with Navision modules? And would you like to be in charge of forming our ERP solutions in the future?

You will join a well-established global company but at the same time you will be part of a completely newly created IT department, where you will have a great opportunity to make your own mark.

Our Senior Director of IT Interacoustics, Mette is never afraid of new solutions. New initiatives are typically just around the corner :)

You will join a leading supplier of premium diagnostic audiological equipment used every day in hearing clinics and hospitals around the world. From our headquarters we sell to more than 100 countries through our own sales companies and external distributors, and we are part of the global hearing healthcare company Demant who has more than 16,000 employees worldwide and generate annual revenues of more than DKK 15 billion. You will be placed at our Interacoustics headquarters in Middelfart which is just one of many global brands that you will be working with. The other brands are placed in the UK, USA, and Germany.

Right now, we are looking for a new Navision Application Consultant to join our global business transformation project.

Join our Global Business Transformation Project

Your overall focus will be to work on our global business project transforming existing business processes and functionalities to a global way of working. Your focus will be on the development of our Navision (ERP) solution, related to logistics, finance, warehouse, or field service processes - making sure that we operate with a verified global solution. You will also help the business and your team define the design and exploring new technologies together with the developers.

The project also covers the global implementation of Salesforce (CRM) and other related systems with the common goal of changing the global business setup. You will report directly to our Senior Director of IT Interacoustics.

What you will be doing :)

From the moment you take on the role, you will work closely with your manager to plan and enhance your professional and personal development as much as possible.

Taking on the role you will:

• Act as “Application Steward”. You will be in charge of integrations and take charge of the application administration.
• Work with functional designs in cooperation with the Navision developer.
• Take part in the global implementation of Navision.
• Work with test automation. This means that you will drive the test cases and make the functional screening of the solution.

Your most important stakeholders will be our sales companies around the world, but you will also have daily communication with operations in Middelfart and our production in Poland (Stettin).

Understand the technical language and our business needs

To be successful in the role you must be capable of speaking with our developers but also able to understand the different needs from the business. You should be interested in the technical aspects of the applications, but it is equally important that you thrive in being close to the business.

Maybe you have a bachelor or master’s degree with a focus on IT. Apart from that it´s important that you have at least 3-4 years of experience from a global IT enterprise environment.

When it comes to personal skills, you have strong stakeholder management skills and focusing on the user experience and being able to put yourself in the user’s situation comes natural to you.

Finally, you are service-minded and communicate easily with colleagues at all levels.
