About the job
You will become part of an international organization that is market leading worldwide in collecting, processing and sharing logistics date – be it land, air, sea or rail. You will be part of a fast-paced global startup on an extremely interesting growth journey.
As the company's new senior software architect, you will work in an ambitious agile team to design and implement Java applications in a global cloud-based SaaS.
You will be responsible for designing and developing the services, project44 offer their customers. Their services include APIs and self-service portals, collecting data from IoT devices and processes the data in big data pipelines.
You will have many interesting and diverse tasks. Besides taking part in designing the company’s future architecture and developing the services, you will also help lead and mentor your team of developers, coordinate with US colleagues, perform review of your colleague's design and code, assist with CI/CD, help drive standards, analyze and tune performance and scalability – just to mention a few of your tasks at projetct44.
They work according to the principles of SCRUM. Their organizational structure is flat and unbureaucratic where they have a strong tradition of helping each other obtain common goals.
About you:
You are a software engineer or computer scientist with extensive experience within software development. You have worked in a software architect role and have experience in building large scalable solutions based on micro-services from previous jobs. You have extensive Java skills and solid knowledge with JEE, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle and REST is expected.

- Building systems in a multi-cloud environment. (They use AWS & GCP but value experience in other cloudenvironments such as Azure)
- Container-orchestration: Docker & Kubernetes
- Creating API's / web services: REST, SOAP etc.
- Database related work: DynamoDB, MongoDB, Postgres
- Real-time and near real-time streaming work in Kafka
