Unicontrol is currently on the take-off and we are looking to extend our Core Team. We work with compact excavators, fit them with sensors, apply geodetic data on top and compile it into navigation and planning information. That, we display to the operators on the Android tablet, powered by the Unity3D game engine. The result is a modern, clear overview of the construction site for a centimeter-accurate guidance system.We are looking for
An experienced software engineer with a passion for new technology and a drive to solve complex challenges. Ideally, you already have several years of experience as a software engineer within robotics, machine control or similar.
Since you will be joining a growing startup it is important that you have the drive to learn quickly and can push the things forward by yourself. You will be faced with a large variety of tasks and engage with the customers. Big machine visits on the construction sites are included.

Required competencies & experience
- University degree within SW engineering, Computer Science or Robotics
- 3 years of commercial experience in C++
- Commercial experience with Linux embedded systems
- Knowledge about IMU sensors and forward kinematics
- Strong math skills or surveying background is a plus
- Hardware integrations experience is a plus
