BEC are standing at a very interested place, - we are moving towards the clouds away from mainframe solutions to enable and be ready for new way of doing banking in Denmark. This is a long journey, you will be an essential part of a transformation of our organization and tech solutions.
We are looking for an Area director for Enterprise Architecture ready to share and grow
The position is based in Roskilde, and will report to the CTO Niels Bjørkøe. In this role, you will get mandate to carry out a complex and multi-faceted assignment which will have an enormous impact on the entire organization and our customers. In the journey you will have a mandate grounded from top management to find, communicate and secure the best architecture journey for BEC
Your will be responsible for defining, designing, and continuously updating the architectural vision of BEC to future-proof the architectural development for BEC customers and for BEC as a whole. Furthermore, you will be accountable for the value creation of the leaders and specialists in the Enterprise Architecture area, including the specific deliverables mentioned under responsibilities.

In the position, you will work closely with a wide array of internal stakeholders, not least Development Directors in the divisions Infrastructure & Business Optimization and Customer & Business Transformation. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

Preferably, you have an educational background at master’s level within computer science or other relevant field of study and 5+ years of experience from a similar position working with a complex architectural landscape.

- Support and set 3-year strategy and priorities
- Reference architecture
- Architecture knowledge
- Architecture Design Authority
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position, you will work closely with a wide array of internal stakeholders, not least Development Directors in the divisions Infrastructure & Business Optimization and Customer & Business Transformation. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Support the transformation of BEC as part of the leadership team in Architecture
- Create and maintain the future ambition and target state of BECs overall architecture, covering both business and technology
- Define and drive strategy development for BEC’s Enterprise architecture and platforms through architectural guidelines
- Drive and contribute to assessments of BEC today and new strategic (architectural) initiatives
- Make sure that guidelines, standards, and principles are communicated to all areas
- Build high performing teams to effectively deliver backlog and define team mission
- Secure EA are strong communicators, technical leaders, have a deep technical knowledge, make sure that EA have the capability to talk to management and as well as understand deep technical issues
- Overall performance management through frequent performance review, creating team development plans and mentoring and coaching of teams
- Secure EA have a customer centric focus and on the same time secure that BEC have a robust long-term architecture for the future
- Ensure solutions are scalable and flexible to enable future growth
