Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our solutions and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a new Software Engineer who can contribute to the continued development of our IT systems and the operations hereof.
With a direct reference to our Service Hosting Manager you will become a part of our Service Hosting team which consist of 15 experienced colleagues who are responsible for the operations our IT-solutions and their hosting-environments. More specifically you will be connected to our Service Hosting Application Support team, who are responsible for architecture, database administration and project management. You will work closely with dedicated technician, architects and project managers who value collaboration and an informal tone.
A job with focus on the newest technologies
In the newly established position as Software Engineer you will get a key role in our continued technological journey, where we are focusing on implementing the newest technologies in order to support our customers. You will be joining our Service Hosting team on our kubernetes adventure, where you will be responsible for maintaining our Gitlab presence and ensuring continued development of our tooling and monitoring portfolio.

We are looking for an ambitious and committed Software Developer who has an interest for DevOps, and who is eager to learn and try new technologies. You have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar and want to be a part of an international company striving for optimizing the world's water and energy resources.
As a person you are proactive and driven by the desire to deliver the best software solutions. You are open to new ideas, and see opportunities instead of limitations while still having a methodical and analytical approach to your tasks. It will require persistence to implement new work processes and tools, which means that you are thorough and structured, as well as process-oriented in your approach to solving tasks. Furthermore, you thrive in working as a team where sparring and knowledge sharing is a natural part of the day and you enjoy finding creative solutions to complex problems together with your team.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in Danish and English, both written and oral

- Infrastructure as code in terraform
- Tool development both front end and backend in C#, React, Python, Bash and PowerShell
- Deployment and CI/CD (GitLab)
- Our new Kubernetes platform
