With service, operations, administration and development closely linked, we innovate, manufacture and operate smart metering solutions for a global market. Therefore, we are looking for a Software Engineer who can insert our Field Service Tools into a global context.
With direct reference to R&D Manager Jens Hørdum, you will be joining an open culture, a team with profound knowledge and empowerment to innovate and act. The specific position resides in a team of 5 people, with focus on developing and maintaining Field Service Tools for Kamstrup’s smart metering solutions.
A job with focus on future software solutions
As our new Software Engineer for Field Service Tools, you will play an important role in enabling service engineers around the world, to swiftly install and troubleshoot our smart metering solutions. The Field Service Tools are utilized by the Service Engineer to install and diagnose our smart metering solutions within wired and wireless data communication. Hence, you need to have both interest and competences in dealing with protocols and communication software in general.
You master the art of software development using .NET, C#, WPF and SQLite and you have a professional background within software engineering and at least 5 years of experience from a similar position. Furthermore, experience with CI/CD, Xamarin, Python, ASP.NET or Caliburn Micro, will be considered an advantage.
While implementing the software for Field Service Tools based on the above mentioned software technologies you will be working across several disciplines such as:
