In our Technology function you will become part of the Electricity Systems department, with direct reference to our Team Manager. Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights, that will enable utilities to optimize the production and distribution of electricity. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who can contribute to our journey on continuously improving our technology stack and drive the transition to more efficient and modern software products. You will be part of a team of 8-10 highly skilled and motivated Developers, Interns, Architects, Testers, and Product Owners and you will experience a tech-savy culture rooted in constructive collaboration, outcome focus, and mutual respect. Our work methodology adheres to the agile principles, ensuring a streamlined and adaptive approach to our development processes.

In the position as Senior Software Developer you are expected to set a high standard for delivering quality software solutions by implementing best practices in high-performing quality software whilst acting as an example that inspires future colleagues to follow. Moreover, you will be responsible for driving the full process from development and deployment to support and maintenance

We are looking for a committed Senior Software Developer with a solid technical understanding of software development, and a strong proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL Server, and other related technologies. We imagine that you have a relevant educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar combined with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
As a person, you are a self-motivated and committed individual who is characterized by being curious about new trends and you easily translate your insights into achievable solutions. You know how to balance your time between driving the implementation of new technologies that can benefit our products and services and ensuring the daily software advancement. Further, you are able to communicate according to the situation, whether it is on a high technical level or targeted at the business.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

- Creating new features for OMNIA, our C# and .Net software product
- Uncovering functional requirements and create design specifications
- Establishing technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Participating in, or driving agile guilds with a focus on knowledge-sharing, trendspotting, etc.
- Transitioning from monolith applications to microservice architecture
- Developing and implementing CD/CI pipelines and automation scripts
