In the role as IT Infrastructure Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring the resilience, scalability, and security of our critical network and server infrastructure. You will experience the freedom to act and make a significant impact on modernizing our infrastructure, contributing to a secure and scalable future. Therefore, you will work in cross-functional teams, supporting and driving projects that align with our strategic goals, as well as the possibility to deepen your expertise through practical experience.
More specifically, you will be:
In this role, you will have great opportunities to enhance your hands-on experience with various automation tools such as Python and Ansible. If you do not have experience in these areas, we will provide you with the necessary training. Moreover, we are committed to your development, offering numerous possibilities to expand your skillset within our technologies, including certifications and further education in areas such as Cisco, VMWare, and Linux.

With a direct reference to our Head of Core Infrastructure, you will become a part of a team consisting of 10 highly dedicated and skilled specialists. We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist who is ready to modernize our infrastructure towards a higher degree of software defined infrastructure. You achieve this through your technical experience in network and server management combined with a collaborative spirit. Your desire to learn and grow will enable you to tackle new challenges and drive innovation within our team.

In the role as IT Infrastructure Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring the resilience, scalability, and security of our critical network and server infrastructure. More specifically, you will be:
- Leading the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of our Cisco network stack to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Managing VMware server environments, including deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Implementing and maintaining robust security measures across network and server systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Applying advanced diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve issues across network and server domains, while continuously seeking ways to optimize performance.

You achieve this through your technical experience in network and server management combined with a collaborative spirit. - Have +3 years of experience within core IT infrastructure
- Possess strong foundational knowledge of Cisco technologies and VMware server infrastructure
- Have experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and virtualization platforms
- Are proficient in independently troubleshooting complex network and server issues
