About the Department
The department is part of Global IT and located in Søborg. We are a dedicated department of IT experts responsible for support, maintenance and operation of our Clinical Data Warehouse and Statistical Computing Environment, as well as project management of system upgrades and implementation of new systems. We work together with colleagues from all R&D IT as well as colleagues from Line of Business. As our new system specialist, you will join an agile, inspiring and ambitious work environment, with advanced use of IT and where teamwork is essential.
Our aim is to increase the value generation to our business stakeholders through the implementation and development of digital solutions spanning across many areas and technologies. Our main objective is to explore new ways of creating value from our vast data repositories and to automate and improve our manual work processes.
About the Position
You will participate in IT projects within Research & Development, in an IT architect or subject matter expert role.
We are currently re-inventing our clinical Data Warehouse and you will be part of designing and developing a new solution, that will support regulatory requirements and support our business processes.
You will also be responsible for aligning with line of business, ensure solutions support business processes, and support colleagues in Global IT to ensure compliance with our internal IT Strategy and IT Architecture best practices.
Qualifications
You have completed a master’s degree within computer science, engineering, software development or a related field. Alternatively, you have proven and extensive experience as an IT architect or data engineer. You have experience with cloud-based solutions and API designs. Knowledge about graph databases is also an advantage. You have worked with large scale solutions, preferably working in an agile manner. Having experience from working in a GxP environment, is an advantage.
You have a flair for designing new solutions that enhance business processes, re-thinking current solutions and you are excited by the opportunity to work with new technologies. As a person, you are comfortable making trade-offs and participate in risk analyses, allowing a risk-based approach to developing new solutions.
