As a Lead Data Engineer, your key responsibilities will include: Leading the implementation of converting and ingesting historical clinical trial data for AI and analytical purposes. Driving data engineering best practices, standards, and governance processes. Leading the team in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and execution. Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives. Staying current with emerging technologies and recommending innovations to enhance our data capabilities. Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should bring: A Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Life Sciences. Extensive knowledge working with Databricks and Azure. Experience working in the Clinical data domain and familiarity with standards like CDISC SDTM, ADaM, MedDRA, etc. Experience in creating and leading high-performance teams. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle in the life sciences industry. Knowledge of scientific objectives for the development of diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular health medicines is a plus. About the Department
