For GPV Group we are searching for a passionate Lead Solution Architect to work in the Digital department. The Lead Solution Architect will lead and design the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) project and global MES template within the entire GPV Group.
The role of the Lead Solution Architect will be to lead and drive the project forward in coordination with the MES team and local production sites and ensure implementation of a global MES platform that will be piloted in one factory, and afterwards rolled out to the rest of GPV’s factories.
The Lead Solution Architect will support production operations in developing solutions and will play the leading role in implementing the MES system. You will work with Production, IT&Digital, Test engineering and Quality to optimize manufacturing processes and systems to drive business process improvements, system automation, continuous improvement, and other duties associated with production excellence. The MES is a part of GPV’s digitalisation journey towards “Smart factory” and Industry 4.0.
The Lead Solution Architect must ensure a global perspective and local proximity in the project and in the building of the GPV MES template.

Expectations for you:
We are looking for a technical and/or IT skilled candidate, that has senior software knowledge and understands software applications within a MES suite or has extensive knowledge about a specific MES suite.
The perfect candidate can analyse and understand the GPV Group production processes and see how MES can support this process and enhance it and/or has production knowledge within EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services).
The candidate must be fluent in English. Personality wise, the candidate must be empathic and able to interact with both people at the production floor and management stakeholders to drive the change and achieve a high adoption rate and usability.
The role is based at GPV Group HQ in Vejle, Denmark but the candidate must expect extensive travel as the production site footprint is global.

- Lead and driver of the MES pilot project
- Ensure the pilot solution is adhering to existing ERP, decentralised MES system and current production system baseline
- Drive the requirement collection and the build of the MES template on the chosen MES platform
- Define and set the standards and governance to ensure them
- MES Vendor management e.g. workshops, deadlines and progress reporting
- Stakeholder management at both the execution and management level in the pilot factory and afterwards in the roll out
- Lead and drive the change management and training academy in implementing a MES system at both production, management and reporting level
- Lead and drive the GPV Group production site roll out of MES after ended pilot
- Involvement in other initiatives or projects within GPV Digital that further helps the continuous operational excellence journey in the GPV Group production sites
