Are you eager to assist DSB in reaping the benefits of the latest SAP platforms and technologies?
Join our SAP Center of Excellence! We are looking for an SAP Backend and Frontend Developer to collaborate with the SAP Development team which right now consists of 3 internal and 6 offshore consultants / developers plus 1 authorization consultant.
You will participate in projects as SAP Developer, maintain and develop our current DSB solutions with focus on the SAP Development Platform and the Fiori applications – and thereby lift the skills in our team towards the digital solutions within SAP.
What does a typical workday look like? We work onsite at DSB or from home. Our assignments often derive from our SAP Application Consultant who acts as hub of the SAP department, the business, and our nearshore center in Poland. Furthermore, we cooperate with our offshore center in India where a part of the development is conducted.
Every other week, we have a recurrent team meeting dedicated to knowledge sharing – this is your opportunity to get a little wiser on a broad range of topics.

Who are we? The SAP Center of Excellence anchors the IT responsibility for DSB's portfolio of SAP products. The top priority for the next few years is to accelerate the journey towards SAP S/4HANA as a wall-to-wall backbone, as this is a prerequisite for success with several of DSB's digitization initiatives.

The SAP CoE consists of more than 25 permanent employees and a corresponding number of external consultants.

Your main responsibilities will be to
- Develop, maintain, and extend reliable SAP applications
- Develop and maintain custom code in our current DSB solutions
- Ensure that the new application solutions meet functional requirements
- Provide technical support and quality control
- Create and document technical requirements
- Administer the SAP Fiori design system (to some extent)
You will particularly work with the following SAP modules
- SAP FI/CO, HRM, PM, SD, SSP and ESH

Who are you? You are first and foremost a skilled technician who is motivated by combining business needs and IT solutions – and enthusiastic to share your knowledge with colleagues and partners.
- You can probably recognize yourself in several of the following statements
- 4+ years of experience as a developer
- Experience with at least one of these technologies: SAPUI5 / Fiori Design patterns, ABAP and ABAP Objects, SAP Extensions, CDS views and oData Services, JavaScript and BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework)
- Basic Knowledge: SAP Fiori Configuration / Launchpad
- Basic knowledge: XML, JSON and HTML5 and CSS
- An educational background in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or similar
- Fluency in English
