IFOA – istituto formazione Operatori Aziendali, Reggio Emilia, Italy, is - on behalf of a company operating in the field of telecommunications - looking for a Test Engineer for QA at F1AP interface.

Full job description:

The Test Engineer will execute conformity tests related to XRAN projects. These projects include validation of the F1AP interface and integration across 5G architecture components.

The Test Engineer will belong to the QA/testing team, which collaborates with software/hardware R&D developers and project managers.

Skills:

Main requirements

  • 5+ years of experience architecting and designing test cases for wireless products.
  • Baseband Unit (BBU) testing experience 5G technology
  • Proficiency with Linux Operating Systems including SSH, TCP/UDP and virtualization with KVM, Kubernetes.

Desidered experience

  • Python scripting.
  • Experience 4G/5G UEsimulator (Prisma or Viavi).
  • Advanced understanding of Wireless systems such as LTE, 5G, along with RF testing in micro and millimeter waves.
  • Familiar with Jira and Confluence platforms.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or other applicable field.

Language skills:

English, knowledge of Italian will be an asset

Salary:

based on experience, bonus to be agreed

Job location:

  • Bologna/Milano
  • Domestic or international travel may be required

Start date as soon as possible.

Permanent contract, full time, 40 hours pr. week.

Shifts and work on days off as per italian national contract.
