The Account Security Officer (ASO) is the primary point of contact for the delivery of Cybersecurity services to the customer. The ASO is responsible for assuring that the compliance of cyber services and security obligations are met for any delivery to the account and client. This includes overseeing other service centers as they deliver to the customer, as well as management oversight of all Cyber Security services delivered to the account and customer. The ASO will represent DXC to the account and customer on all matters of IT Security and Compliance and will engage with other Cyber Security resources to fulfill this obligation.

Account Security Officer:

  • Takes ownership of security for the account and customer by developing a deep relationship with the client based on transparency, trust, delivery dedication and execution in order to drive service excellence and ultimately sales.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of the client’s business, DXC’s contractual obligations and related IT Security Risk. Assess client’s infrastructure for security weaknesses and proactively recommend on improvements according to the client’s risk profile.
  • Ensure that Cyber Security’s capabilities are provided maximum opportunity to support account expansion goals, including assisting in opportunity identification; strategy and service offering development.
  • Acts as the “go-to security expert” to the client, either providing expert technical advice themselves, or bringing in subject matter experts where appropriate from both within and outside DXC.
  • Coordinates security incident investigation, management, and response to all security incidents with impacts to the account to ensure a swift and professional resolution.
  • Monitors for Threats that can affect the client, responds to information security incidents and coordinates mitigation efforts between the Client and DXC to ensure that incidents are handled in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provides security reports to the client and the DXC account according to DXC standards and contractual commitments.
  • Develops security and compliance strategy jointly with the client to anticipate future threats and requirements, and defines the strategic roadmap for future services and technology.
  • Manages the overall account budget relating to cyber security service support and acts as the Security “Product Line Champion,” and takes advantage of opportunities to increase security business with the client. Monitors and reports on the financial health of the account cyber security services.
  • Works as a team with other regional ASO’s and DXC delivery organization in order to ensure a common understanding and use, of methods, tools, reporting and etc.
  • Implements training program for cyber security education and awareness activities, and ensures all resources engaged in account delivery, including DXC subcontractors, are part of this program.
  • Works with the Nordic Cyber Audit team to ensure progress on any identified security compliance, revision, or audit findings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA or other security management certification preferred
  • Nine or more years of experience in computer science, management information systems, or data security experience
  • Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware
  • Experience working with computer programming
  • Experience working with operating systems
  • Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Experience working with security architecture

  • Good organization skills to balance work and lead projects
  • Basic leadership skills to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
  • Strong skills implementing and configuring networks and network components
  • Ability to work with relational databases
  • Ability to work in a team environment
